What is it all about? That’s up to you…

I know, not the answer you’re looking for.

To find the answer, it’s simple, but not always easy.

You have to look within. The place many of us have forgotten, dismissed or avoided. A place we shut down and ignored for years. We take medications, use substances, build coping mechanisms, or ignore intuitions which blocks out our softer inner voice. The loud and sometimes (okay many times) obnoxious thoughts. Those thoughts come from our conscious mind. While useful and necessary during our formative years (up to about 8 years old), the brain has routinely led us astray or down the wrong path, misguided us, been unsupportive or even down right abusive. Any thoughts that you have that are not loving and supportive are those generated by the conscious mind. The soulful self is ALWAYS loving and supportive, but you have to listen closely over the boisterous chatter of the mind.
